Intel hosts Windows 8 tablet event with HP, Samsung, ZTE ...

Intel has sent invitations to members of the press for a media event to showcase Intel-based tablets on September 27th. Although we thought we'd seen most of the upcoming Windows 8 tablets at IFA this year, Intel promises executive speakers from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, and ZTE. So far, ZTE hasn't announced any Windows RT or Windows 8 tablets just yet, but one of its marketing executives shared a photo of an apparent ZTE Windows 8 tablet earlier this week.

Intel's events will take place in San Francisco on September 27th, and the company also revealed that it will introduce more details on generation Intel Atom next generation (Clover Trail).
