HTC launches HTC 8X has 4.3 inch display and Beats technology , start selling in November

HTC has introduced the Windows Phone 8X. A name that sounded like a trademark of Microsoft. To understand why this is because the two companies are collaborating to create the campaign launched HTC became the face of Windows Phone 8.

According to the designer by HTC, Graham Wheeler said inspired designed HTC 8X from the Start screen with live tiles and color in Windows Phone 8. HTC 8X will be available beginning in November with 4 main skin color is black, blue, red and yellow. And HTC declined to disclose that the OEM color can be added to this phone or not.

HTC 8X has a 4.3-inch 720p screen "HD super LCD 2", dual-core 1.5GHz chipset, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, NFC support, 4G LTE, 1800mAh battery. 8 megapixel camera with flash and front camera 2.1 megapixel, f/2.0 aperture and BSI sensor for shooting in low-light conditions, with 88 degrees wide angle lens will also work well for forward facing group shots and 1080p video recording . Especially HTC has brought its Beats Audio technology on Windows Phone line. So 8X HTC also supported Beats.

Ultimately, the Windows Phone 8X goes head-to-head with Nokia's Lumia 920. On paper, Nokia's device wins with its camera tech and wireless charging, but having held both I found the 8X more comfortable to use with its smaller 4.3-inch display and curved back. The 8X only weighs 130 grams vs. the 185 grams for the Lumia 920. The difference is noticeable too, something that might disadvantage Nokia against this HTC rival and Apple's iPhone 5 when consumers pick them up in stores.

As for pricing and availability, HTC is taking a different approach to Nokia. HTC tells us that Windows Phone 8 will be launched fully in late October by Microsoft and that it plans to have devices on shelves "within days of that announcement" in early November. In the US the Windows Phone 8X by HTC will be available on AT&T and T-Mobile, and Verizon will also stock the handset. European carriers include Orange, O2 Telefonica, MTS, Three UK, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.

AT&T is planning on October 21 to launch the Lumia 920

The technology site BGR has recently said Sunday October 21 is the release date Nokia Lumia 920. At that time, we have underestimated the rumors because there is no official information what WP8 as well as messages from Nokia.

However, the WPCentral consulted a number of new materials for circulation of AT&T, has actually confirmed October 21 is an important day for the next top phone of Nokia. The language in the documentation clearly uses the word "launch" when discussing the Lumia 920, however there are mitigating circumstances that still makes it hard for us to believe. If we had to play it conservatively, we still may be getting the preorder date.

Unfortunately, due to our agreement with our source, we cannot share the contents of the message/documentation nor whom it was from, but be assured that we know that information and we are confident in its accuracy. Our source of the internal AT&T material had earlier confirmed the Mango-update dates for Windows Phone, which turned out to be very accurate. For that reason, we impart a high level of trust in this knowledge.
We still have reservations about this date only because Microsoft is reportedly not set to unveil all of Windows Phone 8 until the end of October and most OEMs we have spoken with are sticking with their “early November” timeframe for release of new hardware. Just as we originally reported, that gives us pause.

However, if Microsoft could launch sooner, maybe the game will be even more interesting when Apple going to bring the iPhone 5 to consumers.
Can Microsoft and Nokia (and AT & T) do to surprise us? Let's wait and see.

Skydrive have recycle bin and Excel survey will be available soon

Microsoft is to reveal new recycle bin feature for Skydrive. Rumors of this feature has since the beginning of this year, Skydrive will now provide users with a way to restore the files they have accidentally deleted. Reply to feedback from students, Microsoft said it was a feature for most groups of users to work together on projects using SkyDrive.

You can now delete anything immediately, knowing that you can change your mind within three days -- and longer still, should the recycle bin occupy less than 10 percent of the storage limit. If you're just as uncertain about creating content as scrapping it, SkyDrive has also received support for creating and sharing Excel surveys to narrow down the scope of a project. The recycle bin should slide into your SkyDrive account within the next day; Excel surveys aren't yet polished enough, but they should be ready "soon."

Microsoft licensed use file system for RIM

Microsoft today announced that the Blackberry manufacturer, Research In Motion has signed a licensing agreement to use the system file Extended File Allocation Table (exFAT) Microsoft on Blackberry devices. exFAT is a proprietary file system was designed and developed by Microsoft - to increase the size of the file and transfer rate on flash data storage. Numerous manufacturers have integrated file system on devices such as phones, PC and camera.
RIM is the latest big name to licence Microsoft's exFAT system. Microsoft's David Kaefer says the RIM deal "highlights how a modern file system, such as exFAT can help directly address the specific needs of customers in the mobile industry." Microsoft's previous legacy file system, known as File Allocation Table (FAT), is at the center of a dispute between Motorola and Microsoft in Germany. Earlier this year, Microsoft won a request to ban certain Motorola Android deices for infringing Microsoft's FAT patent.

So why the PR for a such a seemingly minor deal? Microsoft appears to be sending another signal to Google and Motorola that litigating core patents like exFAT isn't worth the cost. Microsoft's Brad Smith and Frank Shaw both made it obvious earlier this year that Microsoft feels licensing agreements are the way forward instead of lawsuits. Ultimately, the approach drives the cost of Android up and offers manufacturers protection from intellectual property litigation from Microsoft over their use of Android.

Learn about Nokia Lumia 920 screen technology

Nokia Lumia 920 was introduced to use the new screen technology name HD PureMotion + promises to bring great experience to the user. In particular, a limited number of features on the smartphone screen today will be overcome:
- The ability to see better under sunlight.
- Technology PureMotion.
- The ultra-sensitive touch screen.
Today the speed of technological development on the phone screen as fast as the speed of coverage of mobile devices worldwide. In particular, when choosing to buy a smartphone, visibility as well as resolution of the screen is always a good place to consider carefully. The new iOS device most used screen technology "Retina" or "Resolutionary".

Meanwhile, the technology "HD Super xxx", "Super xxx Plus", "True HD" is the preferred choice of the Android Smartphone. Most recently, in the launch two smartphones running Windows Phone 8, Nokia was referring to a new screen technology name HD PureMotion +.

What is PureMotion HD + ?

Now we know HD stands for high-res screens with at least 1280x720 pixels, and the Plus usually indicates an RGB "stripe" matrix arrangement in the case of Samsung, while LG used it in the case of Optimus G to indicate in-cell touch panel. The new Lumia certainly belongs to the high-res RGB crowd, but what about PureMotion?

Nokia outed the white paper of its new screen technology, where the "+"sign stands for the WXGA pixel count, while PureMotion apparently stands for an aggregate of technologies that address the weakest points of mobile capacitive displays that have been around since they became mainstream with the iPhone introduction in 2007. Now, five year later, Nokia is trying to resolve all those issues in one fell swoop, and called it the PureMotion HD+ display. The "Pure" part winks at the PureView marketing term, of course, which has already been proven to work in enthusiast mobile devices like the 808 PureView.
With the Lumia 920's large 4.5" high-res screen, Nokia tried to address at once several issues that plague smartphone displays - poor sunlight visibility, motion blur, and the inability to operate them with anything but bare skin. Let's not forget also that at 332ppi, only a 4.3-incher like the Xperia S (342ppi) beats its pixel density, yet Nokia went much further with the 15:9 display than simply being satisfied with that, adding a number of important innovations to it. Let's delve into how the Finns did it.

Sunlight visibility

The most pressing issue with smartphone displays, once they hit the HD resolution mark, we'd peg to be their outside visibility, especially under direct sunlight. To make a screen visible outside, you need great performance in one of two components - brightness or light reflection ratio. The iPhone 4S screen is brighter than the Super AMOLEDs in the Galaxy S II/III, but Samsung uses a layer with very low light reflectance, which improves its outside visibility.

The Nokia Lumia 900, on the other hand, has an even lower reflection ratio of its OLED screen, thanks to the ClearBlack polarization filter of Nokia, making it the best display for outside usage in independent comparisons. This comes to show that a combinatioin of both high brightness and low reflectance ratio will yield the best results, and that's exactly what Nokia did with the PureMion HD+ display of the Lumia 920.

The brightness is listed as 600 nits, which is 20-30% more than your average mobile display, but Nokia says the display automatically goes into peak brightness mode under direct sunlight, which it says is the highest brightness of all WXGA mobile screens. Now we don't know if peak brightness means something more than 600 nits, like on the Xperia P, which shoots up to 935 nits, but even if the peak luminance is 600 nits, Nokia adds a new version of ClearBlack on top for helping things out further.

The ClearBlack polarization filter here not only brings screen reflectance ratio to a minimum, but an algorithm also adapts the colors and contrast to the ambient lighting, elevating the Lumia 920's sunlight visibility to new heights. To make a point, Nokia puts the low-reflectance Lumia 900 and a prototype Lumia 920 side by side under direct sunlight, and we can indeed notice more detail visible on the Lumia 920. This will help with everything when using the phone outside, including trying to dial someone in a hurry and not seeing anything clearly due to reflections, as so often happens. Of course, these are promo shots, so we'll dig more when we get a final unit.

This image is when viewed under direct sunlight of the Lumia 900.

The details that Lumia 920 better display than the Lumia 900.
PureMotion
Not that we've noticed much, if any, motion blur on our handsets while scrolling or watching movies, but Nokia claims your average mobile display pixel response rate is 23ms, while a rendered frame lasts 16.7ms, i.e. the pixels don't have time to go with the flow, resulting in blur and artifacts with fast moving objects on the screen, for example.

The way Nokia is overcoming this is applying temporary high voltage to speed up the individual pixels, essentially putting the whole panel in overdrive mode. Lab results show pixel transition taking sub-9ms this way, i.e. plenty of time to do one frame and get ready for another without any lag and blur. This way smooth 60fps rendering is achieved, Nokia says, regardless of how speedy the action is on the Lumia 920 display. Good stuff, but we have to again check with a final unit how much of a difference this makes in reality.

Supersensitive touch
The Nokia Lumia 920 touchscreen is so sensitive, that once you hit that unlock button, you can demonstrably operate it not solely with the tip of your bare fingers, but also with nails, gloves, mittens, and even certain pens, no need for a special stylus. This finally combines the best of both resistive and capacitive touchscreens in theory, so you no longer have to use your nose on the ski lift when you get a call. The technology is developed by Synaptics, which you know from your laptop's touchpad, and called ClearPad 3250:
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will be glad the Lumia 920 exists too, as the classy way she pimps her eagle nails must not bode well for comfortable touchscreen operation. We kid, but Nokia indeed says nails are now possible, as well as some pens, but whether this hyper sensitive touch layer can lead to "butt dialing" in certain scenarios remains to be seen after we spend more time with the handset.

Interoperability of the screen to use technology "Super sensitive touch".

It can be said that all achievements that HD technology PureMotion + introduced the Lumia 920 are extremely useful. Obviously, Nokia does not run in terms of "cramming" a lot of technology to enhance the image in the eyes of the user. Simple, Nokia want to bring the best to their customers. Finnish phone company is changing and we will give Nokia another chance?

ZTE hints about phones running their devices run WP7.8 and WP8?

WinCP.cn quoted on tweet of strategic marketing manager Dennis Lui of ZTE phone company on 16/09 a picture may indicate that the company will continue to launch Windows Phone devices.

Dennis Lui posted photos attached saying:
"Two heads are better than one, MacroHard", "Two heads are better moral of Microsoft's three systems: WP7.5, WP7.8, WP8 MacroHard Microsoft".

Basically this line mentioned probably refers to the appearance of the phone using WP7.8 and WP8 of carrier on the market at the same time, or by telephone using both Android and Windows Phone. And it also appears the rumors that Microsoft tends to keep the development WP 7.x for low-end models, also use WP 8 for high-end models.

In addition, Dennis Lui also post one images on tweet show 1 tablet run WindowRT same one colorful phone number.

Asus Windows 8 tablet will be priced from $599

While some tablet manufacturers suggest reasonable price for the Windows device RT is about $ 300, but according to information leaked from ZDNet, Asus does not intend to compete with that price. If the rumors are true, the Asus RT Vivo Tab is equipped with the Tegra 3 chip that Asus has introduced at Computex will cost from $ 599 (including the dock costs 199 USD), while Vivo Tab is equipped Intel Atom chips will be priced from $ 799. According to the leaked source, hybrid laptop tablet Asus Taichi - 11.6 inch screen will be priced from $ 1,299.
As we still do not have a more panoramic view of the valuation of the tablet and laptop running Windows 8, a series of Asus products seem to be valued by a theory: in the end, they are above what Steve Ballmer called the "sweet spot" when it comes to the pricing of Surface and Windows products.

New Nokia Lumia 820 back covers

On Nokia Conversations has information about the new back cover for Lumia 820. There will be versions of black, gray, yellow, red and white.
The newly announced Nokia Lumia 820 comes packed with some great features, a 4.3 inch ClearBlack OLED screen, an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and wireless charging – thanks to the interchangeable shells.

These interchangeable shells play a big role in the look of the phone, and more importantly, certain functions of the phone. The brightly coloured shells are more than plastic covers; they activate the wireless charging function or protect your phone if you’re more of an active user. Each one is created to suit a person’s different needs without the need to change your phone.

“We’ve moved beyond just changing the colour of your phone. People can now decide how they want to use their phone, by doing something as simple as changing a shell to add a function.”
Explains Tuomas Reivo, Lead Designer on the Nokia Lumia 820.

Made from PC/ABS – a material that was developed to make the shells easy to clip on and off and remain strong at the same time – they allow for easy removal whenever needed. And the colours aren’t just painted on; they are inherent in the material. This means that if you were to scratch the shell you won’t be left with a noticeable mark, you’ll actually hardly notice it’s there. It keeps its colour for longer.

When you buy a Nokia Lumia 820 you’ll receive a standard shell in the box, made from the PC/ABS material. High gloss colours available are red, yellow, cyan, purple, and white. Matte colours are grey and black.

To take advantage of the wireless charging function you’ll need to purchase the Wireless Charging shell. With this connected to your Lumia 820, you can place your phone on a Nokia Wireless Charging Plate, Nokia Wireless Charging Stand, the Fatboy™ Recharge Pillow, or the JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker. These are available in five matte colours: white, yellow, black, red and cyan – all matte and made from PC/ABS.

If you’re more heavy-handed with your phones, if you have a more active life-style or just want to make sure your phone is protected at any point, there is a ruggedised shell too.

About the rugged cases:

“Rather than using a solid, rigid, plastic case like you find on some other phones, this protective shell is built to protect all parts of the phone without making it too bulky. It’s the same width and same length as the other shells, but only a fraction thicker.

This softer shell is also made from PC/ABS but has another rubber-like material around the front and the edges. It covers the back, as you’d expect but also stretches around the front slightly to protect the edges of the screen and the corners – the most at risk area if you drop your phone. These will be available in matte yellow, green and orange with a black TPU trim.”
