Fan render of proposed Nokia "phablet" very impression

Nokia will soon participate in the tablet business. We can be quite sure about this, would you still remember the Nokia Lumia 920 launch event last time, CEO Stephen Elop has mentioned about this problem and see it as an "opportunity". The only questions that remain are when and what it will look like, to which we have no leads or even guesses.
That hasn't stopped the folks at ProductShowroom from taking a stab at the concept with their recent device render (translation: this is all completely 'made up'). They’ve decided that Nokia should go the ‘phablet’ route, a new mixed term for really big phones that are basically mini-tablets e.g. Samsung Galaxy Note.

Nokia 1002 is a phablet screen 7.5 "with a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU, a 1800x900 resolution and running the operating system Windows 8,not Windows Phone 8, behind a 8MP camera, 3.2MP camera in front, a 1800 mAh battery and a stylus. Talking about design, certainly not anyone realize this is not the familiar design of the Lumia line.

Nokia will made tablet or phablet Lumia or not? Let's wait for the future. But now, what do you think about this device?

Compare Nokia 808 PureView and Lumia 920 Cameras !

Nokia Lumia 920 has appeared and the Finns have decided to brand its camera as a PureView one. But this PureView not must be PureView on his 808 PureView and Nokia has explained: If 808 focused on the zoom feature does not break more and increase the sampling frequency (oversampling), 902 strength to handle low-light environment the ability optical image stabilization (OIS).

Nokia’s camera guru, Damian Dinning, Lead Program Manager of Imaging Experience, took it to Twitter to explain the differences between the two PureView phones: Nokia 808 PureView vs. Nokia Lumia 920, in terms of differences and similarities between them.

Camera movement: if there is none, the 808 PureView produces “more detailed images with less noise due to oversampling”. However, when there is some camera movement in both stills and video the Lumia 920 will come out on top due to OIS (optical image stabilization).

Whenever using the two cameras in low light conditions and automatic settings the Lumia 920 will produce better results because of OIS. However, if you go full manual with the 808 (either night mode or manual ISO setting which can bump shutter speeds up to 2.7 seconds) “it will provide better images due to oversampling”.

When recording video the Lumia 920 will produce smoother outputs because of the image stabilization but the 808 will allow you to take advantage of lossless zooming.

Audio, while stereo with “rich recording” on the 808 PureView, will unfortunately only be mono on the Lumia 920.

Zooming is lossless on the 808 PureView in both images and video while the Lumia 920 takes advantage of Windows Phone 8-supported “lens” apps.

Above are the basic strengths and weaknesses between the two phones technology PureView of Nokia. Preliminary and can say that the Lumia 920 would be a great choice for those who prefer to use the camera in fully automatic mode while 808 PureView will make the "players" more pro intervene in the crystal further enhanced as ISO, shutter speed and aperture ...

As Nokia waits, Microsoft is trying to keep WP8 on schedule !

With the announcement of Microsoft and Nokia Lumia 920 last week can be interpreted as a pre-emptive attack before Apple released the iPhone 5, but the staff of both companies are working overtime to make sure Windows Phone 8 release schedule. We hear from various sources that Microsoft was planning to launch Windows Phone 8 in early October, before the launch of Windows 8. Currently, Microsoft is targeting a launch event on October 29 and updated with the devices in November, a slight delay from its original schedule.

Delays and bugs during testing have pushed back the launch, and associated devices, by weeks. We're told that HTC in particular has had a tough time testing one of its Windows Phone 8 devices, a process that has impacted its ability to announce handsets as early as Samsung and Nokia. Microsoft has been working closely with US carriers to ensure testing times are reduced. In some cases carriers may ship devices without any of the usual customizations, to reduce test times and ensure a November launch schedule remains likely. The tight schedule means that any delays in final carrier testing will impact the availability dates of Windows Phone 8 devices.
Microsoft is expected to make a final version at the beginning of this week, but they have worked with Samsung, Nokia, HTC to introduce more about this new operating system. Samsung is the first company released Windows Phone 8, but the company was not able to use their experience WP8 devices. Discussions with Samsung, they revealed in an internal memo, Jo Harlow (Nokia) noted that it was "a nice warm-up act for us"ahead of the company's Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 launch."Microsoft does not dictate when manufacturers announce their products," said Harlow.

Nokia has launched its latest Lumia devices last week, but members of the media have been prevented from reaching the operating system Windows Phone 8. We are told that this is mainly due to the fear of Microsoft on features yet to be announced, and the fact that some parts of the operating system is not stable. Network operator EE announced its first 4G service for the UK today, backed with an exclusivity deal on the Lumia 920. Although devices were on display at the event, Nokia had to cover them in glass to prevent onlookers from playing with Windows Phone 8. The company has also been sending out dummy devices to members of the press in the UK.

Microsoft plans to release Windows Phone 8 at the end of October, we expect the company will reveal all the remaining features as Corner Kid, Rooms. The SDK is said to be released on September 12, and the testing process is underway with AT & T and Verizon for Samsung, HTC, and Nokia devices. If testing goes well then, the Nokia device can be released on November 2, and with the other handsets in November.
