When we look at the specs of the iPhone 5 versus Samsung Galaxy S III, the Nokia Lumia 920 and Motorola Droid RAZR HD, we can see patterns emerging, such as all the iPhone 5′s competitors have a screen that’s at least 720p (1,280×720 pixels), dual-core 1.5GHz processors, an updated operating system (although that’s debatable in the case of Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich), an 8-megapixel camera and 4G LTE — all functioning as de facto standards in this highest echelon of smartphone goodness.

We’ve already seen plenty of videos showing the Nokia Lumia 920 destroying the iPhone 4S (and SGSIII) in low light tests. These were, more importantly, LIVE tests done in front of the camera on the phone (and not by overly creative advertising companies). That’s one aspect of the floating lens.
Another significant advantage is the ability to record smooth video. Many people must have been surprised by what system digital image stabilization (DIS) is Apple equipped for iPhone can 4S/iPad. It is not perfect, but well enough to be satisfied.

However, be sure to check out the video below and compare the results of the OIS system on the Lumia 920 and DIS on iPhone 4S:

Yet Kevin Shields, executive vice president at Nokia, was kind enough to shed some light on the matter. While speaking with PC Pro, he stated that to out a microSD card slot on the Nokia Lumia 920 would have ruined its design. "We started with the premise that we wanted an uncompromised physical form," he said, and a microSD card slot "would have defiled it." Besides, Shields added that not too many owners use that much storage anyway.

There is nothing to argue about the Lumia 920 owners an extremely impressive design and a memory card slot located on the top or bottom edge of the machine to match is very difficult but if you thought that Nokia has the right decision?

How does Qi wireless charging work in Nokia's Lumia 920 and Lumia 820?

With the announcement of integrated wireless charging in the Lumia 920 , Nokia hopes it will be a significant part of the proposition to turn heads from Android and iPhone .This is a standard charging technology built Qi by organizations Wireless Power Consortium performed with many of the member firms such as Nokia, HTC, Sony, Samsung ... and it is also different from the wireless charging the Palm Pre ago.

The way it works is quite easy to understand. Lumia 920 comes with a tray (sole or knee), when you put it on, it will automatically charge cable without plug. Charging will take place almost immediately. Inside the tray with an induction coil, when plugged in to the tray, this coil creates an alternating electromagnetic field, spherical radius of about 4 cm, wrapped around the tray. At the same time the Lumia 920 will also have a similar coil have the ability to connect with the electronic field and converts its energy into electric current, charging directly to the battery. Thus, the machine will charge without having to plug in the cable as traditional.

Capacity, in mid-2009 low power charging standard Qi was born with a capacity of only 5 Watts. Two years later it was upgraded it up to 150 Watt. Although the 5 watt is quite enough to charge the phone, but the upgrade to 150 watts can see in the future Nokia and the carrier will have the tablet also like wireless charger on.
Another advantage of the Qi wireless charging is that it is more firm support and also offers a wide range of products built to this standard. Consortium said the organization currently has 110 certified products Qi standard, including smartphones, charging tray, handle gaming, Blu-ray player, integrated speakers charging (like JBL PowerUp), charging car, clock, battery backup ...

Not all, Lumia 920 users and Lumia 820 will also be happier because Nokia said the shop of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the U.S. will be pre-installed the wireless docking station so customers can drink coffee while charging for your phone.
