Skype for Windows 8 officially announced with trailer

This week's big news for Windows 8, today Skype has released an article about the upcoming Metro style Windows 8 applications.

Set to release at the same time as Windows 8 on the 26th the app looks set to seamlessly integrate with the OS in the People hub and provide “always on” connectivity. 

In addition, Skype also said it will provide their applications to the Microsoft ecosystem. Well, Microsoft is slowly creating a really good ecosystem.

Microsoft introduces new experience with Xbox SmartGlass

One of those things was SmartGlass and Microsoft have now revealed more ahead of the launch. They have updated the Windows 8 apps and free streaming is now available for Xbox Music.

"One browsing session travelling across three screens, that’s the magic of SmartGlass"

During the video above we can see a neat part of the integration between Windows Phone 8 on an ATIV S and the Xbox 360. While using IE on the phone, he taps the context menu and choose share to Xbox, the browser session is sent via console and display. Text can be entered using the phones superior keyboard and gestures can be used to control the screen. Some of the features we have already seen but it’s nice to see them working as we hit the final stages. Then, we show how using SmartGlass applications on the phone, it’s possible to bring the browser session back to the tablet by pressing the Play Here button, launching IE on the tablet. China Mobile officially announced the Nokia Lumia 920T - Starting sell in November

We've seen a lot of the Lumia 920T past few weeks is the Chinese variant is ready for its debut. Now word has it that China Mobile has officially announced the device for a November launch, ahead of the mid December timeframe originally hinted at just a few weeks ago. There are rumors that China Mobile (and Nokia probably) want to beat the iPhone 5 to the market and to be honest we can not blame them.

Lumia 920T is basically the same as the current Lumia 920 but a number of different radio features to work with China Mobile's network, including TD-SCDMA (3G), GSM (2G) and TD-LTE (4G) . Not too shabby. One thing is for sure:  Lumia 920T on such a large network (655 million subscribers) is a very good thing for Nokia.

Nokia Lumia 510 official appearance, sold in November for about $ 200

Nokia unveils the budget of its latest smartphone Lumia in India today. Lumia 510, rumored some time ago, marking the latest move of the Finnish company to try and push Windows Phone prices as low as possible. Nokia said the device will be priced under Rs 11,000 ($ 205) and will be available for purchase starting in November in India, China, South America, and Asia.

Xbox Music allows Windows 8 users to listen to music online for free

Microsoft has released an update for the Music application of Windows 8, this update will enable users to stream music for free from Microsoft's Xbox Music service. It also allows you to save the album in "my music" for your listening pleasure.

To use this new feature, users only need to access the Music application, follow the steps from "my music" to come to the Microsoft's Store Music. From here, we can comfortably experience the new features.

Dell XPS 10 running Windows RT officially launched with prices starting from $ 499

Dell today just got a press release about the device running Windows 8/RT of them. Including the appearance of the Dell XPS 10 running Windows RT for quite very competitive with Microsoft's Surface RT.The device of Dell will cost $499 with the power of the 1.5GHz dual core processor Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4.
